Research

Our group is conducting basic research in systems biology, focusing on complex biological networks, epidemiological spread and cellular metabolism,  using a wide variety of mathematical and computational approaches in our analysis. We engage in applied research, specifically in finding alternatives to antibiotics through experimental bacteriophage evolution, and in the analysis of the interaction between yeast and nutrients in beer brewing.
